IP Samurai was developed

    Invention content input is supported in multiple languages

    Please enter the invention contained in sentences such as ideas and claims, and click on the magnifying glass search button. IP Samurai (free version) searches for US Patent Publications of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, but the input function is supported in multiple languages including Japanese and English. In the case of English, the search is performed according to the invention contains as it is, but in other languages, the search is performed by automatic translation.

    Automatic recognition of International Patent Classification (IPC)

    International Patent Classification (IPC) is automatically recognized in the search from the input invention content. An IPC must be designated when a patent application document is prepared. However, because this is automatically recognized, the burden of IPC examination is reduced. Also, finding the IPC to be investigated before filing will help in the IPC accreditation when you are investigating yourself instead of IP Samurai.
    By clicking on the IPC in the “FIND CATEGORY” field, you can access the explanation page of the IPC.

    The percentages in the claims chart show the similarity between the compositional requirements of the invention and the citations. They can be used effectively when you want to know the prospect of acquiring the right when creating an invention or when examining domestic and foreign applications and it is also effective for brainstorming or hackathons for creating inventions.

    * The free version covers the patent publications published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office from 2005 to 2009 and 2016, and not all US Patent and Trademark Office data is used as a population. Please understand that the evaluation on similarity is one rank lower. Also, the numbers of similar documents are not listed in the free version.
